Licorice gets adopted!

Ralph and Ruth Perry of Winter Haven contacted us recently about possibly adopting a black or tuxedo male cat/kitten. They met with several of our sweet kitties and decided upon one of our favorites, Licorice.

The Perrys chose to foster Licorice while getting to know him and he them. We received an update and was told he enjoyed the car ride home and watched out the window from his carrier during the trip. Licorice seems to have made himself at home exploring his new surroundings. He loves to cuddle and snuggle with them in bed and is a real love bug. He hasn’t been playing too much but hopefully as he feels more relaxed he will do so.

The Perrys enjoy traveling in their RV and are looking for an easy-going kitty who will be a great traveling companion for them. Hopefully, Licorice will fit the bill. We will keep you updated on his progress as we get new reports from his foster parents.

Simon has been Adopted!

Congratulations to the DiMonda family of Spring Hill on the recent adoption of their new kitten, Simon. We’re told he’s adjusted very well to his new home and made fast friends with the family’s dog, Wilson, and bird, Rocco. Marcella has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new feline friend and homework study buddy. We’re so happy for Simon and his new family. We look forward to continued updates as he and Marcella grow together.

Layla has been ADOPTED!

Layla has settled in very well with her new family, Bryan and Kathy Myers, in Jupiter. The entire Myers clan just loves Layla and are so happy to have her join their family.

Kathy tells us Layla enjoys going for walks with and to the dog park. She said Layla especially loves to visit her four-legged “cousins” in Tallahassee. Layla gets really excited when they’re just a few blocks from their house and can hardly wait to get out of the car for her visit with her “cousins”.

We’re very happy to know that Layla is doing so well in her new home. Thanks for the update and pictures! She is such a sweet girl.
